state of the saloon

no member spotlight or partnership this week because uh my job is hard and new among other personal and romantic difficulties so I just have been a little all over the place sorry! back to regular programming next week but I promise there’s amazing gems below.

otherwise can’t wait to see 70 of you on thursday at club vintage for our first saloon event! we are sold out, so we’ll have to catch the rest of you next time. <3

new member welcome!

new members this week include folks from Fireside Pilates, Moonbow Skin, Editorialist, and Mac Cosmetics, and Three Spirit (congrats

Ryann Stutz
!). updated members list here so you can always get a sense of who you might be able to connect with through saloon!

saloon bulletin:

  • As an FYI, our members are seeking contacts at Metrograph, Equinox, and anyone working in fashion/sustainable fashion who would be willing to chat with a college senior about the industry. If that’s you—get in touch! juliafharrison@gmail.com.

  • saloon member Zoe Brown, senior content strategist at The Quality Edit featured two saloon-sourced brands—Les Fumees and & Tread Well—in her signature column Launch Digest.

  • Gabriella Pedro
connected Carli Gordon of The Libi Project with folks at Margot and Dona to help build out a tea-tasting and pastries event on November 2. You can RSVP here!

  • Leah Yassky was connected to dear friend books through saloon for an upcoming breathwork and acupressure workshop on Tuesday, Oct 22. RSVP here!

  • Maria Vogel at Rococo Advisory is offering saloon members $10 off the $40 monthly membership tier, using code ROCOCOSALOON10. A three-part offering, Club Rococo members are invited to monthly in-person programming, receive the Rococo Record, a newsletter whose content strikes a chord of intrigue for those both inside and outside the art world, and obtain special discounts and access to arts and culture organizations.

  • saloon member Emily Dyke of Hudson Supper met Isabel Butler through saloon (part of our ever-increasing Hudson Valley presence) and they’ve been working several events together, including one in the city this week! Important pics below of the event:

  • saloon member Paige Stewart Enslow just built out branding for Sera Stems, a new floral brand, and the designs are so cute.

  • had the pleasure of attending an event through Cristina Krumsick, saloon member and founder of Isetta, to celebrate a collaboration between Chopin Vodka and Fferone Design. smoothest martini I’ve had maybe ever, and I’m usually a gin martini girl. Tinx was also there but I didn’t realize until I got a text about it like 10 hours later which is a bummer because Tinx would love saloon, obviously.

the vibes for chopin x fferone design
