something you read/saw recently you enjoyed:
tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow—i was hesitant to read it because i’ve never been into video games, but you quickly realize the book is more about relationships and how meaningful platonic relationships can be—impactful and necessary in a different way than our romantic ones. if you grew up playing video games then this book will have an extra layer of nostalgia for you.
you love when this happens: being on the same wavelength with someone, thinking of them and then they call/text me or vice versa. that always enforces my belief that were all intrinsically connected. also running into someone on the street, for the same reason.
last thing you bought irl: the strawberry protein smoothie from nem’s japandi bistro
life hack: daily 30-minute sauna
upcoming dinner reservation? surprisingly none at the moment, but my local go-to is fin du monde in greenpoint.
what are you doing this weekend? headed up state with my friends at treetop and arcteryx for a hike and dinner series where i’ll be leading a workshop in creative freedom (painting blind-folded)
