Ow ow I know it’s Tuesday morning sorry my brother’s fiancé had a Long Island bridal shower this weekend and I went to see Mietze Conte and then hit Mansions for the first time (no like so awesome…..) and shot an engagement with my friend Isabel and had Malaysian food and then went to Hartley’s and then watched a French movie that’s still bothering me (Sans Soleil). But I’m here!!! Tuesday in the bright and blessed 73º morning.

This week my internet crush Gatherings by Emily is hiring a summer intern, my fave Williamsburg store Kalimera needs a weekend warrior, The Baffler is hiring editors, and you’ll never believe: more people need a photographer!

In saloon news, we had the cutest event this past week walking around Dumbo stores. Got to meaningfully speak to a bunch of salooners that have been there since the early days (here meaning 2024). We had duck breast and shishito from Kinjo that rocked my world, shopped kimonos, shopped records. But pics aren’t back yet so I’ll shut up til we have those in.

• Saw Mark Ronson for Stella McCartney’s H&M collection this past week. Apps were vegetarian, special cocktail was strawberry negroni. All the waiters were criminally hot. Hannah turned to me and asked “Why is Mark Ronson playing a Bat Mitzvah playlist?”

• Diptyque had an event the same night for their new Rhubarbe candle (it’s amazing, obviously). The “event activation” was a DJ playing a set and an electric guitar while a woman in a white gown danced and writhed on the floor. Crystal goblets full of white wine were being passed around the whole time. You can count on Diptyque to know their brand.

• Also had a brunch with the founder of Figlia at Sant Ambroeus. New flavor is Sole Frizzante and I’m a fan or I wouldn’t write about it at all. I wouldn’t mind a non-alc summer. I’m getting old.

• Shopbop color-coded their sale section…plus they’ve got Augustinus Bader on sale, this amazing dress from Faithfull, Bottega sunnies for $390, some respectful sandals for $83, etc.

• Gave my two cents on ballet flats for The Strategist. It’s always these, you know it’s always these.

• Loved this from BoF on retailers that succeeded by spurning the Internet. Outline makes the list.

• Can I interest anyone in a weekend of barn discoing? End of July in Esperance, NY. Feels like a great way to meet your first husband.

• Saris repurposed as fences stopped me in my scrolling this week.
